This policy explains what information R & R Properties collects, why, and what choices you have.
Account details — your name, email address and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider).
Booking details — the stays you request, your dates and guest count, messages you exchange with a host, and the contact details you provide on an inquiry.
Payment details — handled by Stripe. We receive a payment status and the last four digits of a card, never the full card number.
Content you post — reviews, listing information (for hosts) and profile photos.
Technical data — basic request logs and, for signed-in sessions, a session token stored in your browser.
To operate the Service: authenticate you, show your bookings and messages, process payments and deposits, display reviews, run the host calendar and availability, and keep the Service secure.
To communicate with you about your account and bookings. You can control optional notification emails in your account settings.
Hosts and guests— the information needed to complete a booking (your name, dates, guest count and inquiry contact details go to the host of that listing; a host’s relevant details go to you).
Service providers — Supabase (database, authentication and file storage) and Stripe (payments and payouts). They process data on our behalf under their own terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
We use your browser’s storage to keep you signed in and to remember lightweight preferences such as your theme. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
We keep account and booking records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax and dispute-resolution purposes. You can ask us to delete your account.
You can view and update your personal information, manage notification preferences, and request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under local law.
Access to data is restricted by row-level security rules, and payments are isolated to Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where required.
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above will change when we do.
